3ABF Care Team will support you
3ABF has an aftercare program to provide a safety-net for low-income bereaved families as they move through their grief journey.
After the loss of a loved one, children, teens and adults experience a wide variety of feelings and emotions. The ever-changing emotions experienced with grief often catches us off guard, causing us to act out of character or differently than our typical personality and demeanor. Children in particular are often overlooked in their grief journey.
We stay connected with bereaved families through phone calls and mailing care note pamphlets to assess the need for additional services and/or simply to check in on them.
3ABF Care Team provides follow-up services at 6, 9 and 12 month intervals after the initial office contact to monitor the need for counseling, social services and/or emergency assistance.
Follow-up services are vital to insure bereaved families do not feel forgotten or forsaken.
